Introducing our Youth to the Culinary World

Luther Burbank High School students make refried black beans and vegetable tostadas with the items grown in their garden, a firsthand experience of the farm to fork process.

Chef T inspires students to eat healthier, teaching easy and fun ways to make do with what you have, a skill that will carry on into the lives of our youth forever.

Sequoia Elementary School first graders create celery gardens with various vegetables, such as carrots, cucumbers, and tomatoes, learning that eating healthy can be fun.

Tomorrow's Kitchen prides itself on support and community. We partner with the Health Education Council for events like Family and Flavors and Spring into Wellness Event to provide not only food for families, but instruction on how to make these healthy meals at home. We have participated in various Multicultural Events to introduce people to new foods and ingredients, an opportunity many may not otherwise receive. We previously hosted Youth Summer Nutrition Service classes in order to feed families during the summer, when school lunch is not an option for those in need. These are just a few prime examples of the ways we support those around us, by not only giving them a meal, but giving them a safe space to experiment with healthy cooking, flavors, ingredients, and recipes.
Educational & Youth Outreach
At Tomorrow's Kitchen, the main goal is to introduce school-aged children to the world of culinary. When schools partner with Tomorrow's Kitchen, their students receive the opportunity to learn how to cook and eat healthy, with the ability to make mistakes and learn what they like and dislike.

Family and Flavors event with HEC and TRUSD at Allison Elementary School, where 35 students and family members made cucumber tomato salads. This was a learning experience for everyone, as children learn a new recipe and their parents learn to let their children explore and experiment with their choice of ingredients.
